Health Checks for RTO’s

A VET Logistic Health Check is invaluable for anyone who is looking to become an RTO (initial registration) or is an existing RTO and is facing a post-initial audit, re-registration audit or is seeking to improve its ability to provide quality training and assessment services to its clients.

VET Logistics Health Checks are audit services that replicate those conducted by the regulators in accordance with:

  • the Standards for RTO’s 2015,
  • the AQTF and/or
  • the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students but with more.

A Health Check of your organisation assists in:

  • Identification any non-compliant or poor practice issues.
  • Guidance on how to rectify identified non-compliance.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement.

You will be provided with a full report detailing all findings in plain English and clear recommendations on how to rectify or improve (where applicable).

Health Checks include the following:

  • A teleconference with the relevant RTO staff prior to the audit visit to outline the process and answer any questions relevant to the visit.
  • Review of documentation prior to the visit (as per request sent prior outlining the required documentation).
  • The audit – consisting of an opening meeting, an audit of the RTO according to the applicable Standards for RTOs 2016 (VET) or the National Code (CRICOS); audit of two qualifications, two units per qualification and a closing meeting outlining findings of the audit.

VET Logistics is flexible to your circumstances. Where a site visit may be costly to your organisation Health Checks can be conducted via a desk top service#, a site visit or combination of both.

Reports are completed and provided to you within 7 days.

#Desk audits cannot apply to those Standards/Clauses/Guidelines that require sighting physical resources.
