Validation of TAE assessment

VET Logistics can provide your RTO with independent validation of TAE assessment systems in accordance with Clause 1.25 of the Standards for RTOs 2015.  From 1 January 2016 all RTO’S that deliver any AQF qualification or assessor skill set from the TAE Training Package must have undergone independent validation of its assessment system, tools, processes and outcomes in accordance with the requirements contained in Schedule 2 of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015. VET Logistics provides this service for both Certificate IV and Diploma level qualifications.

Validation of other training and assessment resources

VET Logistics provides validation of training and assessment resources to ensure they meet their training package requirements, Rules of Evidence and Principles of Assessment; all in accordance with Clauses 1.3, 1.4 and 1.8 of the Standards for RTOs 2015.

  • Independent validation of resources can be done prior to use.
  • Validation of assessment evidence can be done post-use to identify any assessment practices that may not be in accordance with your organisation’s policies and procedures and not meeting regulatory requirements.

VET Logistics can lead validation exercises with your Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and/or trainer/assessors

Quality Management System (QMS)

Provision of a QMS product to guide the RTO in its ongoing operations in accordance with the Standards for RTO’s 2015 or the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students. This is in MSWord format to allow any customisation for your organisation.

Training

Providing RTO management and staff with education in VET related requirements e.g. Validation, effective practice.  This will assist RTO’s in meeting the requirements of Clause 1.16, ‘the RTO ensures that all trainers and assessors undertake professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency based training and assessment’.
